James Howey M.Sc. B.Sc

Director

James has over 20 years experience in water and environmental management, with roles in both the public and private sectors. Recognised as an industry leader in water quality risk assessment and management planning, James identified a niche in the water industry and launched Viridis Consultants in 2008. Since it's conception, with James at the helm, Viridis has delivered many and varied successful water and environmental projects.

Karen Pither B.Sc

Workgroup Manager -

Recycled Water and Environment

Karen is an environmental scientist specialising in water management, risk assessment and management systems. Karen's environmental experience includes construction environmental management, environmental and water quality monitoring, contaminated site remediation and validation and management plan development and implementation.

Tristan Holland B.Eng

Process Engineer

Tristan is an RPEQ certified chemical engineer with post graduate qualifications in process integration and project management who has been working as a professional engineer in the water/wastewater sector since 1998. Tristan has vast experience in designing water treatment processes in both industrial and municipal projects, and is a diversified engineer with technical experience in process designs, electrical designs, mechanical equipment and PLC programming.

Maddie Shaw

Graduate Engineer

Maddie has recently completed a double degree in Engineering and Mathematics, majoring in Chemical Process Engineering and Applied and Computational Mathematics at QUT. During her degree, she developed a strong interest in water quality, treatment, and analysis after designing a water desalination plant and an acid mine water treatment plant.

Maddie has experience in product research and formulation, data evaluation and regulatory assistance, having worked as a research and development officer. She conducts data analysis, evaluations and assists with compiling reports for our clients in the water industry.

Scott Prenzler B.Eng

Senior Consultant

Scott has 13 years extensive experience in water and environmental management, both nationally and internationally, specialising in recycled water for the past 7 years. Scott is not only experienced in water regulation, compliance, assessment and licensing, but is also skilled in high-level problem solving and the interpretation of technical information and legislation.

Tasleem Hasan M.Sc B.Sc

Workgroup Manager -

Drinking Water

Tasleem has 13 years of experience in drinking water quality management, including regulation, sanitation and hygiene. Tasleem has worked extensively across Australia and the Pacific Islands identifying and discussing key water supply issues and challenges, and providing advice on potential improvements and regulatory compliance.
